Garment Care
Each fabric in the Wearmeadow collection is chosen for a reason — and cared for accordingly.
Linen
Linen is designed to soften with wear and develop character over time — a quality we consider a feature, not a flaw.
Wash — Cold water, turned inside out, with a mild detergent. Hand washing is recommended for longer-term care.
Dry — Air dry only, away from direct sunlight. Machine drying is not recommended.
Wrinkles — A natural characteristic of the fabric. Smooth while damp, or press on low heat with a cloth barrier if a crisper finish is preferred.
Store — Fold rather than hang, in a cool, dry space with adequate airflow.
Cotton
Cotton is chosen for its durability and breathability — qualities best preserved through considered care.
Wash — Cold water, turned inside out, with a mild detergent. Wash with like colors to maintain vibrancy.
Dry — Air dry when possible to preserve shape and minimize shrinkage. If machine drying, use low heat and remove promptly.
Wrinkles — Reshape while damp for a smoother finish. Iron on a cotton setting if a crisper look is preferred.
Store — Fold heavier pieces to maintain structure; hang tailored or structured items on a sturdy hanger.
Stain Care (Both Fabrics)
Blot immediately with cold water. Avoid rubbing or aggressive treatment, and always spot test before applying any solution.
